In any ministry area, there are necessary logistics that must take place in order to help that ministry run effectively. By making sure we check in every single student that comes through our doors, we are ensuring our ability to communicate well and make good on our promise to aid students in their spiritual walk.

Every Wednesday Night MBCS is blessed to be led in worship by our fantastic MBCS worship team comprised almost entirely of students in the ministry. This group practices most every Tuesday evening. This team could use help from gifted and talented adults who have a passion for worship to help disciple these student leaders in how to effectively communicate God’s love through music.

MBCS organizes several trips throughout the year. As you can imagine, the amount of time and energy that is required to put a trip together for up to 60 people is a fine art. For those who possess these skills. we’d love to have your help in MBCS for everything from the creation and structuring of these trips to the actual booking and communication of them.

For those people gifted in teaching, we are also always looking for more individuals to share the introduction message which will be the topic of small group discussion. All of the material is provided to teachers to allow them the ability to prepare well to spark some thought in a particular direction that will become the focus of discussion.

On Wednesday Nights the Student Ministry at MBC largely features one main serving opportunity; the role of MBCS Small Group Leader. Luckily, we are always needing more people willing to participate in a discussion with students (7th-12th grade) for the purpose of discipleship and relationship building. The number of students in small groups varies based on number of kids and number of adult small group leaders. The goal is to limit the size of these groups to the best of our ability in order to facilitate discussion. Small Group Leaders are provided with all of the materials for these discussions as well as freedom to pursue conversation beyond and in addition to the provided material. These groups are divided up by gender and age to help facilitate a better discussion.
