Inreach Ministry

Through love serve one another - Galatians 5:13

Inreach Ministry

What is Inreach all about?

The “one another” passages in the NT lay the foundation for God’s provision and protection for His saints through the local church. The “one another” that is commanded more than any other is to “love one another”.

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” – John 13:34-35

Much of MBC’s Inreach is “decentralized” through small groups and the service ministries under Women’s ministry and Men’s ministry. The Inreach ministry serves as a safety net for those members that aren’t currently part of a small group or has a significant need.

There is a reason that Dr. Earl Radmacher when he teaches on spiritual gifts, says, “The spiritual gift provided by God more than any other to His people is the gift of helps.” If you need a helping hand, please allow us to be God’s instrument of mercy and help to you and your family.

Serving One Another

Hospitality House

We have a MBC Hospitality House that provides temporary housing for MBC members in need and those involved with local ministries, such as China Aid and Texas Arms of Love.

Financial Counseling

MBC has a financial counseling ministry and a trained Dave Ramsey financial counselor. Please feel free to contact the church office for more information, or if you are wanting to set up a counseling time.

Car Care

As a ministry to those that need vehicle service, several men at MBC get together on occasional Saturdays to change oil, replace belts and hoses, or take care of other minor engine maintenance or repair.

Handyman

We are in need of men who have the desire and abilities to serve one another in handyman jobs. If you are interested please contact the church today!

Fishes & Loaves

The Fishes and Loaves ministry provides meals for anyone in the church family who needs help during a time of crisis. If you would like to help or need to receive a meal, Fishes & Loaves is just for you.

Bereavement

Those who have just lost a loved one need our help. The bereavement committee works to ensure that food and care are provided for the family and/or the funeral, even on short notice.

Get Involved

We are a family. Not a group of disconnected individuals who only see and talk to one another on Sundays. As a family, we feel the need and understand the need from scripture to care for one another. That’s important to us. And by God grace, we desire to do that well.

We’d love for you to come along side us as we serve God by serving one another together.

And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith. -Galatians 6:9-10
